I believe ur messages might be too large...meaning the phone can support up to 500 messages or a cetain limit in KBs, and i believe u are supassing the KB limit on ur phone...And yes u should reset ur phone atleast every other day, i do it everyday cuz i use my phone till the battery dies everytime...At the very least if my phone gets any unsightly scratches on it, i can send it back by using this as an excuse...heck i might even get one with the software version Goat and Kitty have GRRRRRRRRRRRRR no im not jealous or anything  Angry lol.
what is the difference?

internet still works just like everything else on the phone, just tried it out. its just the fact that i can't send the message and any other message after that...then i have to turn it off, turn it on, then wait for it to initialize the whole message system. and I have the newer version of the phone software too.

Contact ATT and let them know. I think it is more with your connection with ATT and not the phone itself. Sometimes they have to redo your connection on their end.

nope, i contacted at&t, and the lady burned through like all her troubleshooting and she said its not a problem they're aware of, but i'm sure its just a bug with the phone. it probably won't happen to you unless you text constantly.

When it happens see if you can use the internet if you have a data plan.

i get this problem maybe once or twice a day. i can still go on the internet (:

Im on my 3rd impressions phone from att and all have had the same problem. I have to reset phone 4-5 times a day to be able to send text messages. After the second phone i did some checking and found out the problem is common but haven't found any solution. I keep clearing the text message memory but it doesn't help. Has Samsung acknowledged the problem and are there any fixes/patches/firmware on the way?

Surely that must be caued by some weird combo of flaky phones/towers/connections. My wife had it happen once, and one time I couldn't text my sister, but I could text anyone else fine. I don't know if that counts or not.

I have been having this problem alot lately like 3 to 4 times a week my phone will not send a text message to anyone it just says "sending" or whatever then fails and i have to restart my phone then it works fine.  It suck thinking about getting a new one but i dont want to loose all of my games.

the text bug is where whenever you go to send a text and at first everything is fine... but after a while the phone will no longer send texts/ mms/ or do anything data related.  however you still can make calls.  also when this happens you cannot delete messages.  also when you scroll to the bottom or top of the screen to the end and it "bounces back" ... well sometimes it stops doing this as well

I said me only because I experienced the forever "sending" status... Hopefully this doesn't happen again.  I am starting to become disappointed with this phone.  How can they sell something for $400 with so many issues?  This isn't the first "bug" iv'e experienced...
