Just remember, you have 30 days return policy, with most companies. If you decide too many bugs, take it back. Quig

lol my 30 days are up... however i would have just got another impression most likely... but... i noticed something... it happened to me today right after it switched from storing text's on the sim card to storing texts on the phone memory...

First time today...

First thing I noticed was that I could no longer "throw" a list... how you can slide your finger past the edge of the screen and it keeps going, that stopped working. Then I got to the end and, as was mentioned, it didn't bounce back. It just left the blank space displayed. I had no data signal at the time but could place calls fine. But the data issue was due to where I was, nothing with the phone.

Also have this issue..  Have to power on/off my phone to reset the text messenging about 2-3 times a week as it suddenly will stop sending and receiving them.  After the restart it works fine, but its annoying to have to keep doing.  Would also like to hear of any solutions to this problem........

And how many with these issues have contacted ATT to let them know and try and fix the issue?

I just got an Impression as a replacement for my LG Vu that blew up for the forth time and I've already had this issue. Sometimes you try to send to someone and the "sending" seems eternal. It just sends and sends and sends without end until you cancel it. Restarting the phone is the only way to solve the issue. I'm planning on calling ATT about it.

Im on my 3rd impressions phone from att and all have had the same problem. I have to reset phone 4-5 times a day to be able to send text messages. After the second phone i did some checking and found out the problem is common but haven't found any solution. I keep clearing the text message memory but it doesn't help. Has Samsung acknowledged the problem and are there any fixes/patches/firmware on the way?

ok did you get them all replaced in the same month? which month? i got my first impression the week of its launch and i did have the bug i got it replaced a few months ago twice and both phones havent had the bug. They fixed the bug on may 20 all impressions made after that date dont have it. Get it replaced a few more times, you probably got the ones that were made before that, it wasnt an over the air fix it was a manufacture fix.....

Easiest way to figure this out. If you got the texting bug or not.

menu/settins/phone information

Check your software version. Newest is A877UCID3. There have only been this firmware and the one before May.

and there is the answer to your question, replace the phone if you dont have that firmware get it replaced again until you get that firmware. The third time you replace it you can also get another phone that has similarites (hardware, pricing ect.)

When it happens see if you can use the internet if you have a data plan.

i get this problem maybe once or twice a day. i can still go on the internet (:

Happens to me as well, exactly how others have described. Anyone know of a fix yet?

I didnt think the newer firmware had anything to do with it. I am still convinced it is your connection with ATT.

I have great 3G signal. Never have an issue surfing the internet either. Once a day or if I am lucky, once every other day I have to restart the phone. It's so annoying.

Thats not the type of connection I meant. I had same issue with internet when I first got my phone. Once or twice a day I had to rboot phone. ATT reset my connection in their servers somehow and I have never had an issue since.
