oh no, sorry. what i ment was that when i go to delete messages i goto the messing center scroll down goto delete by folder and check the all box.

I just called AT&T with the same problem
I spent a day without being able to send out any text
and I don't txt from my phone much.

Basically tech support told me to turn off my cell and not to restart it
until he re-set the txt feature on my phone...

I restarted it and I was able to use my txt again
I asked if this was a one time thing or if I was going to be dealing with it
for the life of my contract with them. Angry

He assured me that it would not happen again....I will post here if anything else comes of this.

WooHoo!!!!!  Thanks Isketch. See I keep trying to tell everyone the issue is not with your phone but with ATT servers. But rarely does anyone listen. This is eaxtly what they did to my phone 6 months ago when I kept losing internet connection.

Please let us know that the problem doesnt come back. And everyone please do the same.

So i have to call att and tell them that i have to reboot my phone twice a day because of this, and they will make it so it never happens again?

f8lspd, that is awesome to here.  I really wonder what the real deal is on this behind the scenes. But you are the 3rd person this "re-registering" has hopefully worked for.

Do you hear this people? Dont complain about stuck texts till you try this.

Goat, here's the update...I called AT&T and the first lady I got really didn't do much except tell me that the nearest cell site by my house is deteriorating and set up a "call back" the next day to see if I was still having problems with my internet/data connection. The next day the same thing happened - it was still cycling endlessly so I made another call to AT&T (someone from AT&T did call me back from that "call back", but I missed the call). This time I got a man and after explaining the problem to him, he ran diagnostics and checked my connection and status from his side to make sure everything seemed to be working ok, which it was. I then mentioned to him about having the connection reset because of what you mentioned and he went ahead and did it...so far, after 2 days - NO PROBLEMS...woohoo!!! (He did mention that resetting the connection was a "last resort" thing that they do. He called it "re-registering" the device. All he had me do was power the phone off, no battery pulling though)

 Shocked Just now i was trying to send a picture message and it just said sending.... and it wouldn't send and after a while i tried pushing the end key and pushing cancel and it wouldn't work! So i had to take the battery out and turn it back on... Has this happened to any 1?

Well it was easy all u have to do is tell at&t about it and they reset some stuff on the network and now i have no problems. They told me it should be fixed for good. I did a Technical Support Chat but u can also call. Here's a link to the Tech chat. U got to sign in though.

Again. The Goat hates to tell everyone I told you so....But......I told you so. Text bug is not an issue with phone. 4 people now do not have to live with the text bug.  All it takes is a simple call or in Hayden's case an online chat.

Well the person told me since i still have the 30 day period i should get a new one. So you might have to have somone else try to call at&t. I have a question though. If i turn in my phone will i get cought for putinmg on games and useing the master key and stuff. If i take off all the games and put all of it back to normal will the find out some how.
