I've tried googling it but it only offers information on the Iphone 3g =/. I would check the coverage maps on att.com to ensure that they have 3G coverage for where you want to use your phone. Without switching my battery was running down within a days time, I was getting a sound (like listening to a conch shell at the beach) all the time. Now that I have switched to 2G my phone works great.
