Camera shutter lag

I noticed this too.  I think the photo "click" is deceiving, I believe the picture is actually taken a second or so later. Try taking the picture by gently pushing the shutter, and hold the camera steady and still until the picture appears.  You have a better chance of getting a blur in a low light environment, but if the subject holds steady until the picture appears I think you're ok. These are just my observations, I hope they help. Have you tried the Panorama setting, it's amazing...
