Not sure the issues you are having. But I can help you out in a different way. Below is the jad for gmail. Download it to your computer. Then upload it to Davidpye.

http://www.davidpye.com/index.php?page=freewap

Then follow the directions on the davidpye website to download it to your phone. The jad below has been modified to give you the fullscreen version and will go in landscape mode when you open the keyboard slider.

I wasn't able to get it through gmail.com either.  I wound up finding the jar on some website and downloading it from there.  Using this jad is probably easier though.  I just wish you could upload attachments using this app.  Oh well, maybe in a future version.

I'll answer before Agoattamer screams at you ;-)

You need to "goatbreak" it.  Search through the forum for details, but basically you need to connect to TKFileExplorer and delete the manifest file and/or appd folder.  Replace the jad with the one posted in this thread if necessary.

Thanks marcy.  Grin All you have to do ink is using tkfileexplorer go to the gmail application on your phone and delete the appdb folder and the manifest.mf if one exists then restart gmail.

Is there a piece of code that could be inserted into the jad that would allow rotation based on the tilt sensor? I have a Samsung Solstice, which has no slide-out keyboard. The Solstice just came out and there isn't much info on it at the moment, so im getting most everything from here and the eternity site. Thanks.

Has this changed since the discovery of the internal codes?

This is what is in the jad that your phone might use to rotate. Only works with the keyboard for the impression.

I originally was not putting this code into my JAD files, but I recently realized that on the Solstice it rotates the screen based on the tilt sensor rather than the slider, so now all of my primary apps are rotatable.
