I took my friends SIM card and had the net lastnight. Anyways, before I had mine in which has no data plan or net. Anyways, I was not able to get the browser to work with mine. However with theirs I was able to. Anyways, I unloaded theirs out and placed mine back in. Now I have net and data? How does that work? Is something wrong? I do not want to get charged for it! lol

You should have had data even with your sim before the swap. Data is not turned off on your phone. However if you dont have a data plan you will be charged by how much data you use. It can get quite expensive.

Ootch. So no, way as a safety to turn it off? (Just worried about the apps that you might use if they go directly to the web).

there is a "media net opt out" option all you have to do is dial 611 from your cell phone and ask them to do it for you.
can also do it from the website mywireless thingie.

it's free (:
