Hi, I'm new here, and I couldn't find this anywhere. Th AT&T page for the Impression state that "day and evening themes change at preset times".

I don't know where to find this option. I've looked everywhere and the AT&T rep I spoke with was of no help at all.

And while on that topic, no way to change the "locked" screensaver images? Really don't want to see flowers.

Not sure what they are talking about with theme changes. Never heard of it myself. There are not themes for the Impression. And unfortunately you better start liking flowers and bridges cause they cant be changed. Sorry for your disappointment.

I dont see anything that says theme changes. I see this.

Themes  Wallpaper, background, custom menus/popups, icons and more

Yes you can change your wallpaper which is also your background. The custom menus would be when you add games and applications to your menu. Or it could mean for certain widgets like the favorite 5, medianet favorites, or your quickdial contacts.

In my honest opinion it is worded more as a sales gimmick than what it actually is.

It's there. Listed under "Extras":

"Accelerometer, dual speakers for 3D sound; day and evening themes change at preset times; advanced speech recognition"

my last phone was the sony ericsson w580i and one of the themes (i believe it was called "everchanging") on the phone was flash-based/dynamic, meaning it could change according to the time of day (ie, it would be bright during the day and at 6pm the color scheme would be darker and would switch back at 6am). it also had little accents depending on the date (ie. hearts for feb14, snow and ornaments for dec25, etc). it was a neat little theme. but yeah, i'm guessing whoever updated the info for the att webpage probably just cut n pasted and left that tidbit in there by mistake.
