So I dropped my Impression in water. Did all the basic things: took the battery out, dried it off, put it in a rice bag for a few days. It's completely dry. I can turn it on. The touch screen works perfectly BUT:

The keyboard and side buttons don't work AT ALL! I can use the end-call button to turn the phone on, but once it's on the button (as well as every other button and key!) become completely useless!

Please help me, the sticker is red so I can't get a new phone or my money back! And I really like this phone! :c

thank you!

Since those items worked before you doused your phone then I would say you still have water damage.  Letting the phone dry more may help. Using the phone like this may permanently damage it if it is not too late already.

In my area you can get on craigslist.com and somebody usually has an impression cheap.

I had the similar thing happen to my impression a couple months ago. The phone went through a full cycle on the washing machine (i know, stupid) so I took the entire phone apart and sealed it with the things that come in shoe boxes. After a few days i put it back together and it didnt work. However, I figured out that by using a Q-tip and bleach, i turned the water indicator back to white (there was no visible damage on the phone). I took it into one of the AT&T phone centers and said it just stopped working, and they gave me a new one for free.

Hair dryer or placing it in an open baggy of rice. This takes time. Could be days or weeks till completely dry.

I found that placing items that need drying on top of the water heater works for me.
Disasemble as far as you feel comfortable, and leave for days, or longer.
