Which phone should I buy next.

It seems as if they are phasing out the Impression. If I wanted to upgrade, what phone should I get that would still give me access to a forum like this.
I would want to be able to jailbreak, watch movies, add things like Gmaps, full screengames, etc. etc.
In other words, everything I've been modifying on my Impression.

Any Ideas?

I just switched from AT&T to Verizon and went from my Samsung Impression to the Droid X and love it.

If you want to be able to jailbreak get an iPhone.

LOL, just messing with you. Jailbreaking is opening up an Apple device, so it only applies to iPhone/iPod touch/Apple TV.

When I tried to get my phone exchanged, they said they no longer made the Impression. I just wanted a new one Sad

Well it all depends on how much you want to do and pay. The impression was some work to get it to do what we wanted it to do. And seriously if you want to play and not hack all the time I suggest an android phone. The captivate seems to be the best that ATT has to offer at the moment for android. It can do everything you want easily. Games on android are awesome. Google maps even has talking navigation. And there are video players for about everything.

How is your service with Verizon compared to ATT? my wife and I are looking at switching at the end of our contract... The fascinate interests me a bit more than the captivate with what it comes with...then again T-Mobile has the MyTouch 4g... My wife played with that one and loves it!!!

Im posting from my unlocked samsung vibrant. Wtf am I doing here? :-P

The youmobile site for the vibrant sucks compared to this one, and xda developers is almost as good ;-)

I thought about getting a vibrant too. Seems they can be unlocked easily and with a little software mod even get 3G on ATT.

But the phone I would like to get next is the Desire HD. It will be available for Telus in Canada by february. It will get both 1900 and 850 UMTS for 3G with ATT. But I expect it to be pricey.

If you can pay for it, iPhone. You can jailbreak it, plus there are TONS of forums like this for the iPhone. Jailbroken iPhones can facetime over 3G plus more.
