i've read through the threads and finally figured out how to get the file explorer to work. now i want to delete all the apps that require internet access and are pay for use. i had the explorer open and i found the java - locked folder but couldn't figure out how to copy them to my desktop (just in case i needed them). is there a step-by-step guide on what is safe to delete? thank you!

All the locked apps are safe to delete. But you may want mobile email or to use one of the other apps in the future. All the locked apps uses data. And you can't delete the Medianet Browser and that would be the first thing that is accidentally used.

You can contact ATT and have them turn your data off. Whether this affects mms pictures I am not sure.

Or you can make a dummy network profile and point your browser and the locked apps to use it. Then they won't be able to go online.

The games are trials. I have the full version for them all. You delete those using the phone since they are not locked.
