I just downloaded the jadmaker zip file a few posts up. I have no issues unzipping it. It is not a folder. It is a file. Big difference. Try right clicking on it and selecting extract.

There is no extract option, just open open with share send to... etc. i downloaded it with google chrome, and chromes download menu at the bottom wont open it when i click on the file. Glitch? Im pretty savvy with file management and such but im not seeing a solution.

open it and there will be a file and just click it and it will extract some files and then there will be another file and you just drag your jar fie to it and if you did do it then you will get a jad file instead of a jar. so now you will have both.

just download that attachment and save the file. dont open it or nothing. just go find it where you saved it and it would look like this. and from there just drag your jar files and then you will get a jad file

When you download the file what is it? game.jar, game.zip, or game.rar? If it is a jar file you do not open it. If it is a rar or a zip file you can unpack it with winrar. Occassionally some download sites rename game.jar to game.zip and after downloading it you have to rename it back. If you go to unpack a zip file and it has a bunch of class files and a META-INF folder then dont unpack it. Just rename it to game.jar.
rename what can you be alot more direct this is a pain in the neck i tried everything you have said and still can not get the jar.file i downloaded midnightpool 2 from your link and when i unziped it with winrar it had the meta-inf fiel and a bunch of class files any direct help no vague answers please!!
