this phone was perfect, no defects or anything. Not until the master code was discovered, and i didn't dare mess around with the internals. The only thing that i did was  put the games on my phone following the instructions.

AND there is no way it could be hardware, as it (oddly) works fine with the keyboard out

scratch that, now its messed up too. reset does nothing..

Does this process involve deleting anything in the phone? Cause I don't want to lose my contacts for the millionth time.

You dont put the jar file into the jad. You use jadgen.exe to make a jad. Then you put both in a folder in the games folder of your phone.

^^What he said^^

Do a search for jadgen to get that software, save it on your computer. Drag your jar file over jadgen, (you don't even have to open jadgen) and it will make a jad file for you. Then you load it onto your phone as per the instructions in this thread.

Make sure your phone is set to PC-Studio mode when connected to USB. If you have it set to ask it might now work. Also you might have to restart the phone with the USB cable still plugged into it.

I added the TKFE download to the first post and a link at the bottom to familiarize you with using TKFE.

I wanted to install Amaze and Goatbreak it but for some reason when I try to download it the connection is lost from the uploaders.  I tried to install it using this method and I only have a JAD file.  That should be enough, right?
