We normally don't use TKFE for media files. We just use a mass storage connection for pics and music. I have heard of people putting media files on their phone with tkfe and they don't show up. Where you did the java and app database update, I think there was a 'update media database' also. Give that a try and see if the pic shows up. Please let me know if that makes it show up.

But its not good to transfer pics and music with tkfe. TKFE tends to disconnect alot and transferring big or alot of files will uncertainly cause a disconnect error.

True.. while I was transferring the games and the pictures it used to disconnect but them id just reconnect and transfer.. gets annoying but its still nice. So connecting it to the pc with the mass storage option means micro sd card?

Yes. But if you use media player mode then you can put media on the phones file system.

Does the folder name have to be the same as the jars and jads? Also, are there any characters (or number of characters) that would screw up (brick) the phone by messing up the database?
One more question. My impression disconnected (don't know why) in the middle of a transfer, but let me immediately reconnect, but now it won't let me delete the partially transferred file...any suggestions? Reboot?

Names of the folders do not have to be the exact names of the jars and jads but should be close. Just use letters or numbers. No characters. And yes the disconnects are very common. just reboot and try again. No need to delete. just download over top of the partial.

I cant believe you would ask such a question. Especially when your screenname is samsung. Go to samsung.com and the mobile ATT section and find the solstice and get the pc-studio for it. Geesh
And whoever said to download the HG5 3.2.2 version for our phone?? It is incompatible!

My question is when you said "On your phone navigate to the exe/java/games folder" I cant find the exe/java/game folder. Do I look for it in the PC studio? Because I can't find it on my phone or on the PC studio itself.
