Not sure about order. The icon might have affected this. As it has wored for anybody else and nobody played with their icons. When an application installs it pulls the icon file from the jar file. Since you only replaced the 1 made, the phone didnt recognize it as the original icon. That is why you only got the java symbol.

The correct way to replace the icon would be to open the jar and change it in there and then install.

If you take those 3 apps and fix the icons ahead of time and then install, you should have no issue switching order then.

Alright.  Thanks.  I decided just to reinstall the apps in the order I wanted.  It was a pain, but it fixed my problem.

DOnt know if any body realized this or not yet but instead of going thru all the trouble of writing down a list all you need to do to move an app to the top of the list is rename it. Likewise if you rename more than one at a time just remember the first app you rename will be the app at the bottom of your "renamed" list. This list will appear at the top of your apps list. Yes you have to re-update Java DB every time you want to see a change, but is it really thaat much trouble?(excuse me my handicapped friends) you might have to hit the scroll button once,  or even twice OMG!!! but,  I guess thats obvious unless you just cant stand not having eeevvry little thing in exactly the order you think it needs to be or you're just so strained for time to get to your favorite app that one extra button push compared to the thousands during a game or messaging or whatever (not aimed at anyone in particular just venting thats allowed on this website isnt it? sweeeeet)

Hopefully this bit of info will be useful for people not wanting to spend alot of time reodering apps and maybe just want to move an app or two to the top of the list which is what i did not because i dont have time but because it is simpler and easier

peace to you all my fellow impressionists

and thank you all
