Is there a way to make your ringtone a whole song?

Every time i try to make a whole song my ringtone or alarm tone it tells me the file size is to big or something like that. so i was wondering if there was some kind of trick to get rid of the restriction or something?

There is a trick. But why would you want to. Your phone can only ring for 30 seconds before voicemail picks up.
