okay so i jus got the data plan not too lonq aqo and the only problem i'm having trouble with is the email...
when i go to messaging & click "mobile email" it will not do anything. i've tried holding it & tpping it over and over stll nothing..
any suggestions.?


also what is this talk about download email messaging 2.0 & 3.0?

Did you ever delete the mobile email app when in TKFE? it sounds like it is doing what my other programs do that I deleted (ATT GPS, media mall, etc...). Does it do the same when you try to open from the games/apps menu?

If it was deleted, you will need to reinstall the same version (mine is 2.8.7) via TKFE, if you upgrade to a newer version, I believe they are now charging a $5 monthly fee.

2.0 comes on the phone and is free if you have a data plan. 3.0 is a montly subscription and gives you more accounts than what 2.0 does.

Did you buy the phone new? Possibly mobile email was deleted from the phone. Does it still exist in the games and apps menu?

1. Download attached files these are Mobile Email 2.0 the original that came with phone
2. Connect phone via TKFE
3. Go to phone/Exe/Java/Locked Games
4. Create a folder name it Mobile Email
5. Download the Mobile Email.jar and jad file to folder
6. Disconnect phone from pc
7. On phone open dial pad and dial *#6984125*#
8. Tap 4 Internals
9. Enter master code *#3818790*# tap comfirm
10. Tap 6 Storage settings
11. Tap 3 update java DB and the tap 2 Update media database
12. After phones shows updated hit end key.

You should then have mobile email back on your phone.

If you do not receive email notifacations afterwards you may need to contact att and play dumb and ask them to reset your network connection.
