I have a question for Impression owners and need help...

I've been reading around that the Impression keeps dropping Bluetooth a lot. When I tried this out at the At&T store sure enough it kept dropping my M700. I'm guessing that it's not playing well since it's not a Samsung BT Headset. My Motorola V9x never dropped my BT connection but I was using a Motorola BT headset.

Does anyone else have this problem, or is there a BT headset that you could recommend that works well with this phone?

I do use BT a lot so any help will be greatly appreciated! TIA!  Smiley

I have been a plantronics BT user for years. I will only buy plantronics. Ive tried motorola but quality and performance to me wasnt as good as plantronics. I do have this sony cheapy that I got with my phone. But I have yet to use it. I cant say my signal hasnt dropped once in awhile but then again its been about the same with every phone Ive owned.

I actually use the Etyblu.  Its a little pricy, but its the only one I found that cuts out ALL the background noise even while driving with the window rolled down, and the radio on.

That one looks kinda painful to wear.   Shocked

For me I definitely need quality and reliability, but I would prefer a ear hook if possible.  (which I should have stated in my original post)   Smiley

IMO the Motorola H700 was the best Headset that I ever used, but it seems to have issues staying connected with this phone.  So the best ear hooked headset is what I will definitely drop $ on.

Anyway I appreciate all the comments and since my phone won't arrive for another 10 days so please keep any and all suggestions coming.  Smiley

Not painful at all, I dont even feel it, I can even shake my head and it does not come out.  Its very nice and snug.

Could be be though lol

I hear that a good bit. This piece is hit or miss to be honest. A buddy and I bought them at the same time. He broke his ear clip quickly, mine is still going strong.

Has anyone used the JABRA BT8040 with this yet?

It kinda seems like a good concept on paper because it can do A2DP functions with only one earpiece which would kinda be cool to listen to the music player without a wired headset.

Just don't know if this it plays well with this phone.
