Has anyone tried the BoxWave ClearTouch screen protectors? Neither search term yields any results...

They've gotten really good reviews for years with PDA users, and I bought a ClearTouch Anti-Glare with my Palm T|X in 2005. It installed flawlessly the first time and has never been removed in four years. I just removed it a few minutes ago, and it came off perfectly cleanly with no residue.

With the fantastic screen on the Impression, I'm gonna give the ClearTouch Crystal a shot this time. I just bought a set for my wife and I. I'll be sure to give my full impression (ha!) when they arrive.

Ok, guys, my package arrived today. I was just as impressed as I was four years ago. The package comes with a cleaning cloth to clean your screen before applying the cover, as well as an "application card" for squeegeeing out bubbles afterward.

The cut and shape is very precise, except for the notch for the proximity sensors. The left sensor is partially covered, but it doesn't seem to affect the functionality at all. The cover was very easy to install without bubbles or dust, and if not for the small cutout for the sensors, it would be impossible to detect.

The feel is very close to the bare screen, but maybe a little smoother. Actually, I wish I'd gotten the AntiGlare, bcause my finger slides across that one quite a bit smoother.

overall, I think this is a great product, and I'd highly recommend it. I also picked up a plastic rubberized case from them, and that's great too.

One thing to note: the cover ships with a film on both sides, which is emblazoned with "BoxWave" over and over. After installation, I could still see the text and was worried about it, but it was totally undetectable within an hour or so.

hope this info helps some people get a good screen protector. Pardon any typos; I typd this whole thing on my phone. Smiley

lavascript, how is your rubberized case from Boxwave feel? Do you know how it compares to the generic rubberized snap-on cases from eBay? I was looking at the webpage for those cases, and it appears the Boxwaves one look really similar to the ones sold on eBay. However, I could not tell what was really different. Does anyone know if the Boxwave ones are better?

I really like the feel of it. It's pretty smooth; not the type of rubbery that tends to pick up lint in your pocket. I got it for my wife's phone, not mine, but I'd like to have one if it weren't for the added bulk.
