My wife used 1.5" of Velcro from the local hardware store. Works perfect for in the car. Kids now watch movies on the phone when on long trips.

Cost < $1

Only down side is the fuzzy strip of Velcro on the battery cover, but it's really not noticeable.

i like the idea of velcro, however here in Florida when the car gets 130 degrees  everyday it tends not to stay stuck!! i have used a regular vent mount and it worked well.
