II already have a headSET w/ a mic adapter and it works fine and all.  But the combination of chords is just  too long.  I was wondering, about headPHONE adapters.  As they have no mic, what happens with them when you receive a call?

What I think would be optimal is that you can hear the incoming call through the headphones, the ring and the call in progress, while being able to talk through the phone's built-in mic (as opposed to a headset mic.. which headphones won't have).  This way you wouldn't have to remove the headset when you receive a call.

I'm asking because I'd like to know this before I buy one (the one I want I can only find for about $7)

Yes, you have to remove the adapter to answer/make the call.

Funny thing is I have that 3 in 1 multi jack and I have yet to use it. I use my bluetooth for everything. Listening to music and answering calls.
