I'm looking for something that holds the phone vertically horizontally so I can put it on a tabletop and watch movies.  would be cool if it doubled as a car Mount also... anything out there like this?

Just get one of those universal car mounts. Mine holds it horizontally and has a big suction cup on the end. Works great on my glass coffee table.

I found this I think Body Glove has a snap on case with a kickstand built into it:
