I just wanted to let everyone know about Phantom Skinz.  They make a screen protector and a body protector for Impression.  I've had this on my phone for the past couple weeks and am very impressed.  It is very clear with no orange peel and seems to protect the screen quite well.  The current price for 2 screens is $7.00.  Installation is quite easy but be warned that water is used during installation so you need to power off and remove battery before applying.  This also means you will be without your phone for a few hours (the longer the safer) to ensure it dries out.  However if I can do it, any idiot can do it Wink

I've also used Invisible Shields on other phones & Phantoms are comparable (less orange peel).

Check out their web site at www.phantomskinz.com

BTW, I am not affiliated with Phantom Skinz in any way.  They are an Arizona Co. and their protectors are made in Chandler AZ (about 4 miles from my house  Grin).

Cool. Can some of you guys post the finish products of what yours looks like? Right now, I have an invisibleSHIELD full body kit for my Impression. I let the kiosk mall reps help me install it since I am pretty shoddy at installing these things. However, it is day 5 and still not as perfect as I wanted it to be. Particularly on the front (since it's all one piece and not separate pieces like BSE & PS). It seems I want a complete dust & hair-free skin cover, but for some reason, mine is not totally free of dust/hair/particulate/bubbles. The hairs and dust are stuck there, but I'll continue to wait for the bubbles to be gone. If not, I'll ask the reps to redo it again.

I just wanted to see if you guys could upload some pics of how your PhantomSkinz are looking so far.

I would take pic, but my eternity is gone? right now? But, I have used invis. before, liked it, took it off because I put in case that had front cover. Now, I have phantom on htc hd, really like it, easier to put on, slick texture on screen!  invis. was little tacky, not bad. Phantom, you can't really even see that it is on!!  Quig    I just use screen shield.

I'll try and post some pictures of Skinz after I install on wife's phone.  It's a birthday present so must wait until after 12/7.

OK Quig, I ordered phantom skinz just because of your recommendation.  I just received them ( 2 for 1 special) today and will be putting it on in a while.  I've worked with these kinds of covers before so I shouldn't have any problem putting them on.

Just one question, how do I open the battery cover with the phantom skinz on?  It's freaking hard enough without it, and I have to push so hard on the back cover.  Not that I see myself having to open the battery cover much, if at all, but just curious if I had to.

Oh, I'm oblivious to the term "orange peel"?

Orange Peel has alot of uses in the english language. It is a term used for car paint, wood, and even skin (referring to pores). In this case I think they mean either grainy texture and/or if you see circles on it when you hold it towards the light at an angle.
