Hey guys. You have any recommendations for a bluetooth stereo headset? I'm planning to buy one to listen to music while I jog and I'm a bit skeptical about buying one. Is the sound quality up to par compared to just a wired earphones or is it diminished since its wireless? I did see the motorola S9 bluetooth headset and am thinking about buying that one. Any good reviews from people using that with the impression? Thanks

I just purchased this from Deal Extreme. I'll let you know how it works when it comes in.

I like the standard headphone line-out as you can alternately use it to play music wirelessly thru your stereo system from your phone.

Oh how I love DealExtreme. They have been providing me with face melting flashlights and silly usb toys for quite some time now.
BUT, WLH7M  that link is screwed up. Here:

And thanks for the heads up. I am so getting one of those. For $13, how can you go wrong. The earbuds w/ it are probably terrible, but I have a nice pair to replace them already.

Good stuff...good stuff.

Got it in the mail today. Yay!

Works exactly as advertised.

It has a decent little manual though there are some translation problems.

It paired up pretty easily though you have to do it pretty quickly or the visible mode shuts off on but once it's paired connecting is as simple as activating bluetooth.

All the mp3 playback functions work, Skip forward and back, play/pause and volume +/-.

Made a few calls with it and the clarity is pretty good on both ends. It has all the features you'd expect from a modern bluetooth headset, plus stereo output, and mp3 control all without making you look like a tool!

EDIT: You can use it with the widget player or by naving to your music folder.

I did notice that my SD card wasn't recognized after I paired them, but that could have been from something else I'd done. I just took it out and put it back in and it worked fine again.

That is great to hear. I really wanted to avoid having a headset wire to my pocket, and it having controls is a big plus.
The price on it can't be beat either.
Thanks for the test run, I'll order mine tomorrow.

Been using this for a couple of weeks now and for the price it's pretty good.

I do have a complaint though. It says 10 hours of talk time. And unless playing music uses more battery than making a phone call I'm only getting about 5 hours of battery life after a full charge. I wanted to use this while I was working so I can listen to music and take calls without missing a beat but 5 hours of like means I can only use it for part of the day.

The Impression's battery is still at 3 bars after I run the headset dead though. Do that with your iPhone.

Still, this annoyance can be solved with this little doohickey here. Bonus, it's got two ports, so just take your Impression USB cable with you and you can charge both devices in unison. You know, in case you're on the road for extended periods of time.

Well Ive got something even better. You can charge your phone and  use wired headsets at the same time or you can charge your bluetooth off of the extra usb port.

I'm looking into the Jabra BT8040.  Nothing but good to great reviews and you can find them for $20-$35.  I suspect that some of the $20 or cheaper are counterfit.  Many of the reviews compare them to $75+ models and say the BT8040 is just as good.
