You still have to have a regular headphone adapter!

I bought this multi-adapter:
http://www.cellup.com/p-8083-samsung-s20-pin-multi-adapter-with-2-mm-aaet554cbeb-aaet554cbebstd.aspx

And this non-multi one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/3-5mm-Stereo-Headset-Adaptor-for-Samsung-a877-a867-a767_W0QQitemZ170361195990QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item27aa518dd6

I know the multi only has a 2.5mm jack, which is idiotic. But I had an adapter already, so no biggie. But now I know why it's 2.5mm. It's not a headphone jack at all. It's a HEADSET jack. If you use it, you only get right-channel audio. I assume left-channel is reserved for the mic input.

I got the other adapter today (it took 16 days!) so I was able to test to make sure it wasn't just my adapter, and it works great with the new one. Plug that in one side and a charger in the other and I'm good to go.

Not a deal-breaker for me, but I think it's important to know.

Gotta be a little like McGuyver to get this to work. LOL. Funny thing is I bought the adapter also and have yet to use it. But it does make sense now why it is 2.5 instead of 3.5. Not just a size difference but a use difference.

How is that 90 degree adapter? Does it fit tight to the phone when plugged in? I had my eye on that one and have been thinking of getting it.

i saw this one on ebay;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300344840140&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

but i spent too much on accessories already have to wait til next month to buy it...

stupid dog got bored and chewed my charger, had to go to att and dropped $40 for a travel and car kit. luckily it was unplugged so my dog is safe...(for now  Angry RAWR!!)

also doesnt help that i could have ebay'd it for a third of the price, and charge via usb til it came.

newho getting back to the ebay link, it would be perfect for hooking up to my cars stereo and my car charger has a usb port. i will be stoked once i do buy it.

its only $8 bucks but im a poor college student and i need that money to eat out

Yeah, buying accessories from Ebay is anyone's best bet because most of the time you can even find OEM items for 1/3 of what they cost at ATT. The bundle that you paid for $40 you could have paid $10 with free shipping like I did. Right now I bought a 3.5mm stereo headphone adapter with the headphones, I'll write a review on it once I receive it.
