It is time to get a new phone. I have greatly benefitted from all the advice here over the years. I have free googlemaps, I watch movies, I play touch screen games, I tether occasionally, etc.
Now where do I go? What phone do I buy where I will not lose any of the features that I was able to "acquire" on my impression.

Of course if you buy an android phone from ATT you will pay dearly for the data. If you don't mind that then good.  I purchased a Desire HD from Telus in Canada on ebay.  It is the same as the Inspire that ATT sells.  Awesome phone in my opinion.  But since it is not an inspire by name, I was able to sneak by so far with my impression unlimited data plan for $15. Although I payed $350 compared to the $99 you get the inspire for I am saving at least $30 a month in data fees.  In 2 years that adds up to $720 in saved data fees.  So I think I made the right decision and saved myself about $500 over the next 2 years. Also didn't have to renew my contract.
