Ok, I know I prob have a lot of "use the search!" comments coming but I have been through so many phones in the past and finaly I am back to a phone that I actualy have the ability to have some fun with. My head just hurts with all the stuff I have been reading already and my USB cable is still on it's way in the mail. So... please just let me have a break and make it easy on me lol.
Being that I was sick and tired of contracts and scandals, I decided this time around to go with a No Contract carrier. The phone, I recieved from a friend that purchased it off of eBay. The phone is an ATT phone that she had unlocked for T-Mobile. I now have this phone and it was just recently connected to Family Mobile.
Texting works fine, media texts send fine and when I type in what websites I want to go to, that all works fine also.
My issues are as follows;
When I go to MediaNet the result:
Error 502 - Bad Request
The server could not resolve your request for uri:
http://device.home/When I try to run MediaMall:
I am given two options, Upgrade MediaMall or Upgrade Information. Both choices result in asking if I want to open the link in a browser to upgrade MediaMall to AppCenter. I select yes and choose to download which returns Connection Failed.
When I select Shop Music/Music Community/Shop Graphics the result:
HTTP ERROR: 504
Gateway Timeout
RequestURI
http://music.shop/When I select Shop Games/Apps the result:
Index.xml
When I select CV the result:
Web Browser opens to VTap.
I guess my question would be, is there something I can do to get any of these links to go somewhere that works? Or does my carrier not support that? or is it that, this phone would just have to be on it's original carrier for those options to be linked to working sites?
