Calendar Alarms

Ok, here we go... I use the Eternity Studio software to sync my calendar with my Outlook calendar. After syncing, most of my calendar events have alarms which in Outlook are simple reminders but are handled as alarms on the impression. I want to get rid of the annoying calendar alarms. I realize I can manually go in and remove them but this is a pain. I have disabled all future reminders in Outlook so that will work for all future events I create but others invite me to calendar events and they do have reminders on the event. Is there any way to disable the calendar alarm? I created a silent ringtone to add to the calendar event but I cannot find a way to set a default calendar alarm that will work for all calendar alarms, I have to manually go in and change each alarm if I want to do it that way. This is frustrating and would appreciate any help anyone could lend, thanks.
