Connecting to PC with blank screen

My phone's screen just went blank today out of nowhere.  I turned it on and got a blank screen.  I tried taking the battery/SIM card out, turning the phone on/off, sliding the keyboard in/out, etc but nothing works.  I'm not too worried about trying to get it fixed because I'm sure it's not worth the trouble, especially since I'm planning on getting a new phone this week.

What I am trying to do, however, is connect it to my PC to copy all my contacts and other information.  I've plugged it into my computer and the phone beeps (recognizing it has a connection) but without the screen working, I can't select the option to connect it to PC Studio.  Is there anyway to do it with the keyboard or do I have any other options?

(The keyboard still works fine.  It lights up and I was able to check my voicemail that way.)
