I was stuck at a blank port, now phone show connection, however now in the phone section it does not show file tree, like it show with the PC side on top.
What do need to do to see file tree?............just shows the Phone there with its ID, if I click on the plus there is nothing.

What I am missing here?
Did you ever get it to work. I had the same problem. It would connect but no file tree.
I too have the same problem, tried restarting both pc and phone a million times, connecting and disconnecting it also, I followed all of the directions carefully and the phone works perfectly in Samsung Studios, I had one question though. I know this is an impression forum but i am using a Solstice II and was wondering if that was the problem. Maybe my phone is not supported by TKFE?

WHAT WORKED FOR ME TO GET TKFE TO WORK:

Windows 7 64 Bit

1. Downloaded and installed the latest version of PC Studio from Samsung  "New_PC_Studio_1.5.1.10064_2"

3. Put TK File Explorer 2.2 in compatibility mode for "Windows XP (SP 3)"

4. Ensured that the ONLY MODEM device in "Device Manager" is "SAMSUNG MOBILE MODEM". Driver files came up as follows when examining driver properties:

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\modem.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\sscdcm.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\sscdcmnt.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\sscdmdfl.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\sscdmdm.sys

5. Reboot phone while DISCONNECTED.

6. Start TKFE and connect phone after a few seconds.

7. Ensure you have a COM port visible and CONNECT.

IT worked every time after that. Hope this helps... Wink

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get TKFE to connect my phone. I have already tried all the different restarts listed on the first post and I've already deleted that drivers and NPC Studio so many times. I keep getting the error "Warning: Unable to open the specified port. Please try again." I've tried all the different USB drives on my tower and I just don't know what's going on. My COM is listed as COM15. Words of wisdom please?

Edit: Never mind I found out what the problem was. I had to close PC Studio and then hit connect *facepalm*

Try this go to device manager on your PC click on modem you should see one listed Samsung. .. right click and then click advanced at the bottom it should say com port click it it should show show you what port your phone is actually connected to then open tkfe and in the drop down manually enter the port number ie com15 or what ever port you found in device manager. I am doing this from my phones so my instructions for device manager may be off on how to get to the com port check but I think that's it.

I have gone through all ten pages and nothing worked for me... nothing.

Windows 7 64 Bit
New PC Studio 1.5.1.10064_2
Samsung Impression
TKFE 2.2

Same result no matter what I do Error: The communication link is lost.

The phone is in Device Manager with no driver issues. The phone works with no issues under PC Studio. TKFE has all settings setup but same error every time.

**Update** I changed the USB port that the phone was plugged into because it hit me that some ports on your computer, for some reason, dont run at full USB 2.0 and viola it worked. Another possibility is that, when it reinstalled for the new USB port, it changed from COM6 to COM7 but it makes more sense that a faster USB port was the Fix.

I've run into a real headache with my Samsung Evergreen (A667). I can connect to New PC Studio on both Windows XP Pro SP3 (32-bit) and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I can even find the COM port for my phone through Device Manager.

But whenever I connect to the phone using TK File Explorer, it reports 0 files and shows no folders in the Phone section of the window. The status bar says: "0 items (Total AllocSize: 0KB)"

I've tried the usual fixes suggested in this thread (reboot phone, uninstall NPS, reboot, reinstall NPS, etc.) but still run into the same issue.

If anyone could offer helpful suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!

EDIT: I forgot to mention: When I attempt to create a new folder, TKFE returns the error "Unable to create the specified folder." When I try to transfer a file, I receive the error "Warning: Unexpected has occurred during transfer." (No, I didn't forget to type a word; that's really what it says. Tongue)

It may not work with the A667.

It may not work with the A667.
Sad

I looked and couldn't find a list of phones supported by TK File Explorer. If it's true TKFE doesn't support the A667, that's unfortunate, since it seems to be the only potential path to installing games (I have no data plan and actually have data disabled on my account).

Is there anything in particular you'd recommend to resolve the "0 items in the phone section" issue? I've already spent hours trying to get TKFE to work properly, but I'll spend some more time on it if there are steps that are at least somewhat likely to work.
