Ok so i have a major problem, all day yesterday, my phone was acting up, the touch screen wouldn't work, people have said they called and my phone didn't ring, i have reset my phone a couple of times yesterday, and then the touch screen started working, after i didn't touch my phone for a couple of hours, then it stopped working again, and i wanted to run a debug on the touch screen so i had entered the master key *#6984125*# and the master key for the internals *#3818790*# i think i went into debug mode and the phone had rebooted itself and now all i get is a message saying DEMSBL Boot Loader for MSM6290 Uploader Ver 5.50 in a yellow text color and thats it i tried turning off the phone taking out the battery taking out the sim card, restarting it, plugging it into the charger, plugging it into my computer, and nothing, all i get is a black screen with that message, and i know i have bricked my phone, but i have seen on the eternity forum someone with the same problem and a firmware to fix it, does anyone have the samsung impression firmware so i can re-upload it to my phone? Has anyone else had this problem, and have you fixed it, please let me know.

Our firmware has not been found yet. That is one reason we stay out of the debug in the internals. Only way I see it is to contact ATT and get a replacement.

Evidentally you did not read this thread correctly. OP was stuck in bootloader mode. No way to do a phone reset from bootloader mode. Also when the phone acts up that is the first thing we suggest is a master reset.

At least we have the firmware now. Too bad we didn't have it when the OP posted this.

I'm having the same problem with my phone and do not want to send for a replacement as I do not want to lose my pics, etc What do I do to repair this? I've tried to install the PC Studio software that came with the phone but have been unable to get the drivers to be acknowledged? I'm not sure what Firmware is and not sure how to get to the steps that have been previously posted. HELP!

This happened to me twice already. I had to pull the battery & leave it out for 10-20 minutes & then I was able to turn the phone on & it worked.
