Does music player not sort by genre?

I was looking at reviews for the phone to use as a basic music player. I know I'd have to get an adapter, but I don't really mind those small things. I remember reading somewhere that it can music by artist, album, playlists, and genre. However, looking at a photo, I only saw the earlier three and not genre.

I'm not much of a playlist person. Sometimes I hope around my music via genre on my computer. Is it a typo on the review or was the picture outdated and there's a new firmware that does this function?
