Hello all,
I just got the phone a few days ago.  When it was activated it showed me some messages that I had received on my old phone (with the same number).  Since it has been on, every time I receive a new message it will show that I have two extra "New" messages, although I have only received one.  So... the phone will say "3 new messages" but when I look there is only 1 message in my inbox.

I have deleted all the other messages so every time I get a new one i would only have 1 message in my inbox.  does anyone know how to fix this?  Are these phantom messages somewhere else on the phone?

Contact ATT and have them reset the message count.
