Trying to find out how to install games and apps on impression via the master key.+ Have read the posts on this but can not figure out how to navigate to the games section to generate a new file for .jar and .jad files. I am having a hell of a time with this any help would be appreciated.

After you connect to your phone, bottom window...select exe then java then games. You should see the demo games here. Right click in the bottom window and make a new folder. Name it the name of the game. Then open the folder.

Top window navigate on your pc to where you have jar and jad file. Right click on each and select download. Make sure they download 100%. If you get an error try again. Just download right over top of the incomplete file. Occassionally you may have to disconnect and reboot phone and try again. TKFE can be a real pain some times.

Man i have been messing around for a week trying to figure out how to get this thing to work. When i installed the tkfe for impression on my pc I got the phone to connect and everything seem to work fine. I soon found out though that the new pc studio had been stripped of all capabilities other than the transfer of music and media. So I came back to the forum and read some more posts where some one suggested to use an earlier version of the studio and offered a link. So I uninstalled the impression and re-installed the earlier version of pc studio offered for some other phone. Had no problems with the install but oops now my phone wont connect because there is some kind of driver conflict. Even though i install the drivers over and over , uninstall the new studio and re-install the old impression studio, I still find myself with no drivers installed that are compatable with my damn phone. I am very thankful for the help but at this point am quite beside myself over the whole issue. Looking into an Iphone.......

Uninstall the old pc-studio and install the one from this site

http://exodusdev.com/blog/mike/samsung-att-a877-no-manuals-or-software-in-box

and you can add apps and games using TKFE or BlueFTP .. so no need to use the older version of pc-studio

TKFE- http://www.samsung-impression.org/index.php?topic=906.0
BlueFTP- http://www.samsung-impression.org/index.php?topic=1959.0

The impression pc studio is crap. I have said this 100 times and so has everyone else. Install either the version for the eternity (IB5) or the version for the solstice. I recommend the solstice version. Either of which will work perfectly with your phone.

Uninstall whatever you have on there now. Including all the different samsung drivers. Reboot your computer and install pc studio.

Stickys have been made telling you what to install and how to install. Its not that difficult.
