I have a memory card i want to put in my phone, but I'm having trouble taking the batter cover off.  Don't Laugh!  Any tips on how to do it?  am I supposed to push in and slide out?  should slid the keypad out and try this?  Im afraid if i push to hard im going to break the 2 parts (screen and keyboard) apart..

Yes it slides off. Turn the phone off and place it screen down on both of your hands fingers tip to tip. (like how you hold the phone to type a text message using both thumbs except battery door up.) Put your thumbs on the battery cover and apply pressure and slide it off towards the bottom of the phone. Works for me.

I feel your pain. The battery cover on the Impression seems unnecessarily difficult to remove.

Here's what I do:

Place the phone screen down on your left hand with the charge port facing your body.
Cover the battery cover with your right hand, fingers away from you.
Using firm downwards pressure, slide the cover off.

If I remember, I'll try to do a video of this later.

No one really seemed to sympathize with me on my battery cover post, but I swear, it took me almost ten minutes the first time. Ten cuss-filled minutes.

It's easier for me now... not sure if it's because I've done it, or the cover has lost some of its snugness.

If the two palms method didn't work for you, try this:

Hold the phone on your lap, standing straight up, but upside-down (screen facing you). Place your thumbs on the bottom of the phone, your left thumb covering the microphone. Place your left index and middle fingers on the battery cover, to the left of where it says "3.0 MEGA," and your right index and middle fingers to the right of it. Press down and push up.

This, actually, more so than the palms method, seems to work more consistently for me.

Good luck!

HA! I'm laughing, because that is the most irritating battery cover ever made... I ALWAYS have a hard time taking it off!

Oh, and the above method also works just using your thumbs Smiley

LOL.  thanks guys, I finally got it!  it took me a while, and on a few different occasions (cursing included)

I tried all the ways you told me, and finally got it with lavascripts method.  Thanks!
