I got my Impression 8 months ago.  I know it is under warranty but I thought maybe someone had an answer.  Buttons work but touch screen doesn't. Haven't put contacts to sim card. Sad  I called tech support to see if they could re boot the phone, hoping this would solve prob.  I have to be able to get to my menu before they can do that.  Is there any way of getting to menu with the keyboard?  Any way of retrieving contacts?  Thanks for any help!

Do you have it set to PC Studio USB mode (not sure if that's default or not) because if it is, you can plug your phone into your computer, open PC Studio, and backup your contacts.

I am unable to connect to PC Studio since I must select from my screen first in order for the computer to recognize.  I have tried it several times.

Sry, I should have said that in my original post.  My phone is not in PC Studio Mode so I just wanted to know if there were any other options other than the obvious.

I don't have an Impression (I have an Eternity) but is it possible to use the arrow keys on the keyboard to select things in the menu or is it text navigation only?

No, but thanks for trying.  That doesn't work either.  I guess I am screwed.  My own fault for not using my sims card.  Will not do that again.  Thanks for the help.

When I had a problem with my last phone at&t was able to connect to the phone at the storw and pull all my contact info off and place on my replacement phone. I would ask them for assistance.
