U should try a master reset which is *2767*3855#. Make sure u back up your stuff though cause it erases everything. If that doesn't help we just found out how to reflash our phones and that should fix it. Here's the link to the post. http://www.samsung-impression.org/samsung-impression-how-to/how-to-flash-the-samsung-impression/

Unless you dropped it in water  Roll Eyes. jk

I bet the problem came from you messing with Internals. Cheesy.

If you have to resort to flashing your phone...

Try this dial *#63895# this will take you direct to your network mode automatic should be checked for 3g to work the one below it says gsm only thats the edge network if checked you will only get the edge network. there are a bunch of other choices but I am advising you not to play around with them if you do dont blame me if you brick your phone. but this will at least let you know if you are in the correct network mode.

also, can i verify my sim card info with someone else's?

4. Internals> 3. Test Mode> [1] Debug Screen> [7] Sim Information

it says:

sim phase : 0
card capability : USIM
EF_category : USIM
sim_PB : 0
usim_global_PB :1
usim_local_PB : 0
first_inst_class : GSM
