I've been trying forever to figure out how to install widgets on my phone but cant get it to work. How do I do this???

It seems really straight forward. This is what I did, am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change a setting on my phone? Any ideas/suggestions?Huh

This is exactly what I'm doing:

- Signed up at http://innovator.samsungmobile.com

- Uploaded a widget I downloaded from this site. First I uploaded facebook and tried that then I tried the pin widget.

To upload to the widget to the innovator site I logged in and then clicked the "Register" button. It makes me browse for the widget on my pc, and add a title and description. After its done it lists the widget and shows an icon at the left side of the screen and the other side there are two buttons, pin and sms.

- I click the pin button and record the number that comes up (84924924)

- On my phone I open up MEDIA NET and browse to http://widget.samsungmobile.com/pin.jsp

- Once the page is loaded I enter 84924924 in the text box and click the "Input" button.

>> When I click the Input button I can feel the feedback of my touch, but it does not do anything. A page doesnt load, nothing downloads, no prompts. Nothing.

I'm no tech, I haven't even tried widgets yet, but I'll say I'm sorry, idk how to help you. If someone doesn't come along soon, I'll see if I can direct some techys here or send you a link to pm them.

It sounds to me that you did everything 100% correctly. I really do not know what to tell you.

Try using a stylus to press the input button. Maybe it is just not registering correctly. Widgets can be wierd on their touch points sometimes.

It does sound like you are doing every thing correct. My only other thought was and I am sure you are but you have to leave the widget on the inovator site till after you download it using the pin code. Sorry I can't think lf anything else.

Thanks for checking that code. At least now I know it isnt that part that is wrong.

Anyone know if there is an updated Media Net that I can install? maybe mine is too old?
Or a Impression firmware? I know there isnt anything brand new... but maybe theres something out there newer then the one I have.

Those files are system files. They just can't be copied over. Medianet is the heart of the phone's operating system for data. Files are everywhere.

You could always try a master reset and bring your phone back to factory condition. But you would loose everything.

I see at the top it says javascript PinNumCheck when I go to the page. Maybe javascript is disabled on MediaNet on my phone and wont allow it to check..
Is there a way to enable/disable javascript?
