Phone randomly switches to landscape mode.

sounds like a wiring issue. what we have figured out is that the phone uses some type of magnet to make the phone go to landscape and back could be something wrong with the wiring on the inside of the phone that is jiggling around causing your phone to unlock.

What I would recommend is to call ATT and they will ask you a bunch of stupid questions and things to do. Then they will tell you that there is nothing that they can do (which is what we already knew) and they will send out a replacement phone and just send back your phone in the box provided and make sure to backup all your contacts onto your sim card and make sure all of your rintones and pics are either on your comp or memory card if you have one

Well since your phone is under warrenty still (under 1 year old) it wont be an hour calling if you do everything they say it would probably be 30min. You dont have to pay for shipping and handling unless if you want the phone to be expressed shipped which will cost you but if you do the normal shipping it should be free.

Also they will ask you to open up your phone to see if your water indicator has gone off. If it is white you are fine but if for any reason it has touched water or water vapor and is a different color (usually red or pinkish dont really know b/c nvr had one go off for me) your warranty will be void that is the only way that i know of that they will not replace your phone for you
