so the touchscreen on my impression doesn't work and i NEED the pics off of it, is there any way to transfer pictures onto a computer without using the touchscreen??? (i'm probably going to replace the digitizer and flex cable while i'm at it but i NEED them like now) so is there any way to make it work for like the 5 seconds i need to press select to select mass storage mode??? THANKS

Pull the sd card from the phone. Then you can place it in an adapter or just keep the card till your phone gets fixed. Mass storage only works for the sd card by the way.  So if you dont have an sd card installed then mass storage would not have worked anyways.

If you have media player mode selected that will work like mass storage and pictures can be taken off with pc.

If you have pc studio mode selected then you can use pc studio to transfer your pics.

If you have your phone set on "ask" then you are screwed sorry to say.
