Not sure if this is the right section to post this, but...

I know that somebody in the future will screw around with Test Touch Config settings and screw up their touch screen control. So I have decided to write down my settings, hoping this will help someone out later in the future Grin

To access the menu, simply dial *#78# then hit 2. Test Touch config

Here are my settings:

Move: 18
Flick: 400
Press: 3
Long: 35
Double Press: 500
Double Press Bounds: 40
Polling time: 16
List scroll frame1: 2
List scroll frame2: 3
List scroll frame3: 4
List scroll frame4: 5
List scroll frame5: 6
List scroll frame6: 7
List scroll frame7: 8
List Flick range: 10
List OneTouch Gap:
List ReleasePress Gap:

Tip: To see the complete label of the field (Shortened with "..."), just tap the input box and it will autoscroll the label Cheesy

You can't actually change the settings without editing a file on the phones filesystem, so no one can mess up their phone this way.

Luiejongen , is what itapa posted not a solution for the touch pad problem of being off? My calibration is off and getting worse and I don't really wanna have to open it up to change the digitizer. Maybe I'm completely wrong?

itapa ,
Yes! I did open up my phone and change the digitizer as well as the flex ribbon/cable/wire. It wasn't until I opened it up and saw the flex ribbon/cable/wire that I realized that was probably more the problem than was the digitizer. I could slide/squeeze/hold the phone a certain way and the touch would work. The flex ribbon/cable/wire/whatever you wanna call it (it's more of a ribbon) folds back on itself when the phone is closed and unfolds when you open it. So, opening and closing it is what broke the itty-bitty wires inside of the flex ribbon. I have a video on youtube on how to replace the 2 parts. http://www.youtube.com/v/VbCCF-s15JQ&rel=1
There is another video on youtube almost like mine and the link to that is http://www.youtube.com/v/pOH-Fl3jlj4&rel=1

Good luck! It isn't that hard if you are patient and follow the directions! Feel free to inbox me if you have questions!
