There is nothing new that I havent posted dozens of times. Reboot pc. Make sure pc studio is closed. Set phone on pc-studio mode. Reboot phone. Wait till screen is idle. Connect cable and wait a few seconds. Start TKFE and check for port. Then connect. If it doesnt then reboot phone while connected and then try and connect again.

Maybe we are missing something here. Can you reboot your phone?  Then connect with pc-studio.....then close pc-studio...then try and connect with tkfe.

Try changing baudrate to 115600 when setting port. Some say it helps but mine is default.

still trouble shooting, turning phone on and off, computer on and off. Tkfe as Admin and TKFE on win vista sp2. I'm pretty sure im doing something wrong, a setting im missing?

Step by step.

I downloaded the drivers off samsungmobile.com because my brother has the CD with his phone at home. I'm currently in Chicago and just finished bootcamp for the navy, Awaiting SARC. Search and Rescue Coreman.

I plug the phone up after doing all the drivers.

Exit out of studio

Open Tkfe Via Admin

Pick the com and try to connect

and it fails every time.

Maybe the drivers wrong on the site?

can anyone .zip a file w/ the CD.exe files?

Thanks alot for the support so far.

You could try these drivers. Just install overtop of pc studio. No need to uninstall anything first.

Picture attached of phone being connected, but has a loss of connection.

So it knows the phone is there

it just idles out or something?

Just thought I'd mention that I'm having the same problem. I'll search the forums more when I have the time, but this was the most relevant thread I've found so far.

Without looking back, what version of pc studios were you using? I wouldnt use the IC8 for the impression. If you were using IB5 for the eternity try uninstalling and all the drivers and then install the version for the solstice or do the opposite.

I tried an older version of PC Studio (not sure which) and IC8. Do you have a link to a version of the software that works?
