How lame, so I tried going to an at&t store to get a new phone(which is what I was told when I purchased them) and they told me that I had to call warranty. I was disappointed because when I bought the phone they said if I paid for the monthly premium phone insurance that if ANYTHING happens to it I can turn in to an at&t store. Then I learned that after the 1 year warranty if anything happens to my phone (like a manufacturer defect or whatever) again I have to pay the $50 deductible. T-Mobile didn't even do that to me and they suck(imho).

That is how it works. It is stated in the paperwork you received.  ATT doesnt hand out replacements in the store except for the first 30 days.

Your phone is still under warranty anyways. Call ATT and they will send you a replacement in 2 days. Then you send your old one back to them. Wont cost you a dime.
