Anybody else having difficulties with widgets?

The widgets that come pre-installed on the phone all work fine, but I installed a few other widgets (facebook, youtube, orb) and I'm running into an interesting problem.
They only work in landscape mode. In portrait when I try to click them they do not respond, but when the keyboard is out they always work.

Also sometimes the icons for the facebook and youtube widgets duplicate themselves on the homescreen. It's very strange.

Anybody else having these issues?

Thanks for the tip. The ghost widgets are finally gone. 

I'm still having difficulties with the portrait widgets. It turns out they do work but only if I press them several times. Anywhere between 10 and 15 times. Oh well, it's an annoyance but it's not too terribly inconvenient to open the slider when I want to click something. I think I'll live.
