Yep.  That one would work.  "A877 Impression" is listed in the phones supported right there at the top.

The one on the link shows the Impression is compatible.  I did notice that it is nearly double the price of the ebay ones.  Most retailers on ebay accept Paypal; Paypal accepts personal checking accounts and credit/debit cards alike.

Just reading the info on the link you sent, be aware that you aren't able to use the mic on the phone if the headphones are attached.  This means you would have to physically remove the adapter (or possibly the minimum of the headphones out of the adapter) to make/receive phone calls.

I would suggest a bluetooth stereo headset if you don't want to remove the headphones all the time.  They start at $8.33 a piece, see: http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset-Headphone-Black-H200-/200445399866

Long-time Cingular/AT&T user; I've owned & used these devices, in order from oldest to newest: LG CE500, Motorola ROKR E1, Samsung Sync, HTC 8525, & Samsung Impression [AT&T replacing it with the LG Vu Plus].

I upgraded due to AT&T's rude desire to require the $30/month smartphone data plan!  So, I have an unlimited messaging plan only.

man, I wish the impression had a 3.5mm audio port. I don't see how removing the adapter is a big deal when just answering or making calls why would I answer WHILE listening to music or have the wires dangling down my phone?

Dude, why do you want a wired headset anyway . . . are you that old school?  Invest in an MP3 player for $20 if you want wired headphones.  The new way is bluetooth headsets if you want to listen to music in privacy.  You still listen to cassette tapes on a Walkman or something?  A step up is a shock-resistant portable CD player, but still that is antiquated technology.

I researched and found a Motorola bluetooth stereo headset that lets you listen to music on your phone and allows calls to be made/received.  It's pretty nice looking; it looks like normal wired headphones.  This is different from the first one I referenced, which is just one ear.  The price is awesome, at only $19.98 on ebay.  The link is: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Motorola-MotoROKR-S9-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headphone-S9-/320531658952 if interested. Oh, if you don't have a credit or debit card, a local back can offer a pre-paid debit card -- in my area this just costs $2 to activate it, plus whatever amount you want to put on the card.  After that, link it to Paypal.  Use the link above, with "Buy it Now" pay with Paypal and you should get it in the mail.  "That was easy!"

I use earphones to listen to my tunes when did I every say headset. Everyone listens using earbuds with their ipods what are you talking about old school. I do not have a cc nor paypal- amazon is the only way I can purchase things. People at my school walk around with headphones or earbuds- when do you ever see a student listening to music on a bluetooth headset?

Dude, are you from Ohio?  Maybe I am explaining this to a 5-year old . . . I'm not sure anymore!  What part of pre-paid debit card confuses you?

If you get an allowance, get your parents to do this for you, if you can't do it by yourself.  There is no age limit, nor credit check required.  In my example above, Wesbanco is the local bank that offers only a $2 fee for each new pre-paid debit card, plus whatever amount you want on the card.  So, the $19.98 purchase would cost only $21.98.  I'm sure there are other banks that offer this low of a price for any person off the street -- you don't need to have an account at the bank.

As for a ipod, use that then!  I find they are over-rated myself, but whatever floats your boat.   Wired headphones are outdated was my point above.  Everything is going wireless!   If you have an open mind, the last item I linked you to has earbud type speakers, but wraps around behind the head so you don't lose them as easily, just without the wires connected to your phone.  The Motorola headset sold for about $99 in stores about 3 years ago, but still works with any Bluetooth device/phone -- even a bloody iphone.

I am done explaining this, ask your parents to read this thread if you are still confused! Roll Eyes Angry

Wired headphones are anything but outdated. I have used a few wireless headsets and audio quality is always better with the wired versions. A2DP headsets have not advanced enough to replace wired earbuds. And why spend $100 on bt when you can get decent wired for $15-25?

The quality may not be similar, but the end result is the same.  It's not being used in a professional setting for music, just private listening.  It's just a convenience to have it inside a phone.  Point being, why use the mobile phone's MP3 player when you expect so-called higher quality in an MP3 player?

As for the Motorola ROKR, I mentioned it retailed for $99 3 years ago, but now costs $19.98.  It would be the best of both "worlds" -- music and hands-free communications.  That, and not having to remove the wired headphone adapter just to make or receive a phone call.
