I don't even have PC studio or anything installed I just changed a few settings on the phone and windows 7 found some drivers and now have 4 deviced loaded with this phone plugged in... TK File Explorer loaded on one of the three coms instantly no probs... I even have acess to the registry....
here are some screen shots...

Did you do that without resetting the phone?

Yes...   how to get what i am looking at is by putting in the same code as you would for changing the volume level ... but instead of doing that look around for a usb option and then choice qualcomm ... windows show finder the drivers automatically... with windows update then load up tk file explorer  using comm 5... it also divers you the ability to use the tether modem drivers aswell!

Ok I was typing a little fast... What I did was I put in the code to change the volume level in the phone... you know that hidden menu.  Well then under one of the options for USB you can choice Qualcomm.... thats what I did.  Then the phone said that I needed to replug in my phone to the computer so i did... At that point Windows 7 RC with admin priv and UAC off windows saw 4 things a USB Comp. Device and these 3 - Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM which turned in to different names after windows update searched online for the drivers.... one of them giving me a new modem called "PHD HS-USB Modem 9002" I'm not sure what the other turned into... But from within TKFileExplorer I can now open Com 5 which gives me a bunch of stuff... NOW REMEMBER I DO NOT HAVE PC STUDIO OR IT'S DRIVERS INSTALLED

Sounds good. I have changed the Settings and I have unloaded all drivers with the CD. I get COM7 - 9 now, I do see the 4 drivers it installed from WIN7, however, I am still unable to connect via TK.

I connected with tk using the middle com... it showed 3 comes (ex: 5,6,7) well the middle one 6 always went for me.... in my case it was com's 4,5,6 and 5 was my lucky number

ok i don't know if i goofed somewhere or what... but i was trying to add games using the usb method and then removing a file... well now my phone is cycling the AT&T progress bar at startup... i've tried everything ... it might and i mean might be bricked.... but i can still enter the boot load / downloader windows using the key combo... interesting enough i noticed it wants to load a totally different set of drivers.... 3 to be total in this window... soo may beeeee..... all hope is not loss... maybe i can get back into the filesystem and correct the issues.... does anybody have the factory file told to remove to add games...Huh  will post back with info on thew drivers.... i think the screen i am in is the one for flash updates...

Thanks to who ever changed my subject title.... i am sorry and will never do it again

Your phone is bricked. You were warned that it can be dangerous if not done correctly. Until we find the firmware then there is nothing you can do but take it back to ATT and exchange it. Someone found the eternity's firmware and they figured out how to reflash their phone.

I looked for hours today on the net and no luck so far. If you find the firmware we can get it fixxed.

original poster is correct also,
if you go to C0mm0n->USB CONFIG

You then get five choices for USB config
1.Samsung USB
2.Qualcomm USB
3.PictBridge USB
4.MTP USB
5.UMS USB

Have yet to test the different USB settings, will let know after I try.

Yes those settings are there. If you are yousing pc-studio you need the samsung usb setting. In rare occassions you would use the qualcom setting. But you still need qualcom drivers.

I have used both with TKFE and in my opinion samsung drivers are more stable for the connection.
