I had the same problem with my phone. I spoke to a tmobile representative and she was able to walk me through the setup.

1. Setting > Connectivity > Network Profiles > Create
2. Set Name > T-Mobile
3. Access Name > epc.tmobile.com
4. Auth Type > None
5. Home URL. > http://wap.t-zones.com
6. Linger Time 300
7. Advanced Setttings > All boxes must be unchecked.
8. Save Changes

Next we need to create a profile for the messaging.

1. Setting > Connectivity > Network Profiles > Create
2. Set Name > T-Mobile MMS
3. Access Name > epc.tmobile.com
4. Auth Type > None
5. Home URL. > http://mms.msg.eng.tmobile.com/wapenc
6. Linger Time > 300
7. Advanced Settings > All boxes must be unchecked.
8. Save Changes

Next we need to make sure the network settings is set to manaul.

1. Setting > Connectivity > Network Selection > Manual
2. Save

Now we have to point the browser to the correct Profile we just created.

1. Next Click on the Browser to Open.
2. Click on Browser Settings
3. Click on Browser Profiles
4. Make sure TMobile is highlighted not TMobile MMS

And that should be it. Your phone should be able to work on a TMobile Line.

Also go to your games/apps menu and select 'more' then 'connections' and set the default connection for the java apps to your new internet profile.

Uhh, no sense re-doing everything in the thread. What do you mean everything works except the internet? Supposedly T-mobile just changed their settings again. heehee.  They are having issues.

Can you send a mms?
did you set medianet to use the new profile?
did you set the applications in the games/apps menu to use new profile as default?

Yes, I can send MMS. I inputted the settings for T-mobile Internet APN, and directed MediaNet to use the Tmobile APNs. However, i still cannot get internet access. It just brings me to the "Subscription Required" page. Has anyone gotten this to work on a $10 Tmobiile plan? Samsung Impression is not considered a smartphone correct?

There is no reason that it should not work if you entered the correct network profile and set medianet and the other apps to use that profile.  For medianet did you do this?  menu > settings > application settings > browser > browser profiles   and select your new network profile

yea. ive pointed my browser profile to the Tmobile settings. Apparently, the representative told me that Tmobile recognizes all non-Tmobile phones as smartphones by default. However, I have a friend that got this $10 plan working on a Nexus One. Wonder if he's sh*tting me...Thats why im wondering if anyone here has gotten the Impression to work with the $10 plan.
