How do I remove a deep scratch from the screen?

Just got my new Impression yesterday and was listening to some tunes in my shirt pocket today while doing yard work. I bent over and it went flying outta my pocket and onto a rock. While the corners weren't scratched, the rock had to freakin hit the center of the screen and put a nice deep scratch (gouge actually). I was gonna get a screen protector, but I wanted to research em first. Damn, now doubt any protector will hide that scratch. Any suggestions?

If it had a @%*&@! 3.5mm jack I would have used earbuds and the phone would have been in my pants pocket instead.

Sorry to say dude, but ur screwed...Someone has made a post about replacing the screen but i dont know if it was successful or not...there is an item called displex, but i can tell u from personal experience that it DOES NOT work...u are screwed...what u can do is call them, and tell them "ur phone is not able to send text messaged until u reboot it...its not a HUGE problem, but it is kinda annoying" (kind of a white lie, but i have had moments when my phone stops sending messages until i reboot it) they will walk u threw some steps to fix the problem, then u call them again in like 3-4 days and tell them it didnt work, and if u have warranty still they will send u a new phone, or if u dont u can pay 50 bucks from insurance...or u can learn to live with the scratch.

Well I didn't get insurance so... I buffed some of it out with different polishes and the fuzzy pad on my dremel tool. It's better, but still very noticeable. I put a screen protector on today, but it doesn't hide it. So has anyone just replaced the screen?

The same thing happened to me a while ago and I went to Cell City they told me I would have to buy a new screen and for them to replace it it would cost a little bit more than the phone itself so I bought a new one

Ok this works for me. What i do is get a small (small) amount of petroluem jelly and smear it were the cracks are then rub all around the screen this kinda "fills" the cracks and allows it to not be seen. Ive tried it but its at ur own risk theres like no chance of u screwing somethin upl
