This is how you sync your Impresssion with your Mac:
1. Activate Bluetooth on Mac (buy a Bluetooth adapter if you don't have built-in BT)
2. Activate BT on your phone.
3. Download Samsung iSync plugin below.
4. Install iSync plugin.
5. Go to Macintosh HD (your hard drive)>Library>PhonePlugins.
6. Double click on Samsung_Unified_iSync_Plugin.phoneplugin.
7. Go to Contents>Resources, then open up MetaClasses.plist with TextEdit.
8. Scroll to bottom, where you will see a bunch of names of phones. Add in this to the list: <string>SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CORPORATION+SGH-A877</string>
9. Save the file, and close out of it.
10. Don't open iSync yet! Make sure your phone and computer are paired and that Bluetooth is on on phone and computer.
11. Now open iSync.
12. Hit Sync Devices, and it will prompt you to add a device (if you've never used iSync or you've never added any devices). Add one.
13. Your phone will show up in the menu that appears! Double-click it.
14. Hit Sync Devices.
15. It *should* work.

I got this off of: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10784662

Almost everyone said it didn't work, but I got it to work (I synced my calender...didn't try contacts yet...)

Cool! Good for you!  Grin

Glad I helped.

EDIT: Ugh...can't seem to get this sync thing to work anymore. Guess it's a on and off thing. Not stable for sure (until someone finds out how to get it to become stable).

How did you get it to work neeshka? What exactly did you update?

So has there been any further ideas on this? It's very frustrating not being able to sync.

I even tried making a completely new plugin, but no luck at all.

I don't think anyone has ever come up with a way to sync using a mac, even on the eternity forum which is a much older forum and has some really smart people never found a sure fire method of doing so. Sorry Sad
