What if we deleted the widgets individually by deleting them using TKFileExplorer.. would that work?

I'm pretty sure we don't know where the phone stores them.  I have looked through the file system and haven't seen anything except the .wgt files for CNN and Yahoo Search.  I don't think they are stored somewhere we can get to them.

Oh alright. That seems strange that only those widgets are shown.

make sure you know the consequences before you start fiddling with your phone. Just remember if you not sure of something, search it. If nothing comes up, feel free to ask.

Does this method of "Menu>Settings>Reset Settings>Display And Light then press reset" remove ONLY the widgets I installed or does it  also remove the Apps I installed(Google Maps, Gmail, Opera Browser, AT&T Mythic Browser ect..)
I want to remove and reinstall only the widgets that work for me AND I want but want to keep all my Apps I installed... Thx in advance Smiley

This only affects the widgets that you installed.

So concerning the code, has anyone figured out what to use?  I have never used any codes on this phone- so I would assume it is the standard 0000. I am too good at forgetting what it is if I change it  Roll Eyes.  Now that I am downloading and installing widgets like crazy I am sure I will come across a few that I find useless.  Being able to check out each widget in IE is a great help as well!!

the google notebook has been discontinued, but i find that it still works bear. the widget will take you to a page that says visit now, and if you are signed up with google on your phone (remember user name and password through the browser) then it will take u to the mobile notepad section. i use it all the time since finding out it still works.
